Citarum river, Indonesia. \u00a0It\u2019s the world\u2019s most polluted river.<\/p>\n

A reporter teams up with international scientists to investigate the causes and consequences of this pollution.<\/p>\n

One of the main polluters is actually hidden in our closets\u00a0: the fashion industry. 500 textile factories throw away their wastewater directly into the Citarum river.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the help of\u00a0 concerned citizens, the \u00ab\u00a0Green Warriors\u00a0\u00bb team analyzes water samples, rice, children\u2019s hair\u2026<\/p>\n

They find out many toxic chemicals that endanger the lives of the 14 million Indonesian using the Citarum water.<\/p>\n

These findings made the Indonesian governement change its wastewater regulations. The president also recently announced a new plan to clean up the Citarum.<\/p>\n

The fashion brands questioned in this documentary promised a better control of their Indonesian suppliers.<\/p>\n
