9/11: The Day that Changed our World

A film by Paul Moreira and Gilles Bovon
First broadcast August 31, 2011

What links Donald Rumsfeld, Richard Perle, Abou Ahmed, (one of the prisoners tortured by the Americans in the Abu Ghraib prison), and Muntadhar Al-Zaidi, the Iraqi journalist who hurled his shoe at President Bush?
All of their lives were changed forever by the 9/11.

Through a series of exclusive interviews with these major figures – some of whom remain behind the scenes, others who bear the full weight of the spotlight – we look back at the past ten years and examine how 9/11 has reshaped our world. These personal and intimate testimonies of individuals come together to cast light on the overarching story.

The 9/11 enabled a few diehard conservative to achieve their goal: invade Iraq, overthrow Saddam Hussein and secure oil supplies. A goal they deny to this day.

This investigation shows how they tried to rewrite history.
